Pearl Vision VX905 5-Piece Fusion Floor Drum Set

This Pearl Vision VX905 5-Piece Drum Set is based on the original Vision drum formula. It features blended birch shells with variable 6/8-ply shell technology. Lower frequencies require greater energy to match the high frequencies and projection produced by smaller drums. Vision's combination of 6-ply rack toms and 8-ply floor toms and bass drums address this problem by delivering dynamically balanced sound.

Optimized Shell Configuration
The same spirit of innovation seen in the award-winning Pearl Reference Series drums is now available in the Vision Series. Every component in your drum kit is optimized to respond to its full potential within its frequency range. This is achieved through the use of premium wood composition and shell thickness via strategic variance in the type and amount of plies. This sonically advanced recipe of strategically arranged plies of premium wood maximizes frequency response in every component. As with all Pearl drums, each shell is formed with Pearl's legendary SST construction process using extreme heat, precision-cut scarf joints, Pearl's proprietary Acoustiglue, and over 1000 lb. of hydraulic pressure to create the ultimate acoustic air chamber.
